Argentina Habitat for Humanity continues its work in the community of Luján, Buenos Aires, helping more people have access to a decent home. So, on this occasion, we are proud to mention the dedication of two full houses. A family Lovera - Romero, in the town of Torres and the other for Lattaro - Asselborn, in the neighborhood of the town of Loreto Jáuregui. Lovera-Romero's family is formed by Roque, a security guard and Olga, a housewife with 4 children, twins Sergio and Sebastian, 8 years old, Alexis, age 3, and Priscilla, 1. The dedication ceremony for this new home was attended by members of the community, family and friends Lovera - Romero, who entertained his guests with tea, mate and delicious dishes. It was a moment of joy and excitement in which Olga Roque and offered his most sincere thanks, and noted that the brigades of volunteers from companies Novartis, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the local community, and a brigade of the Global Village from Canada, made possible its dream of adequate housing. Of these brigades was the story of little Sebastian in her little school, commented as news from home that "today will be in my house yellow-headed men" (for the yellow helmets HPHA the brigade).

The day was capped by a special blessing from the Rev. Gustavo Mansilla Anglican Cathedral of St. John Baptist de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, who reminded the Lovera family-Romero that what is built is a house, but what they have and must continue nurturing is the consolidation of a home.
Moreover, near the town of Torres in Jauregui, Lujan party also held another dedication ceremony, this time the recipients were Diego, Carolina and their children Juan Ignacio and Bernadette, who make up the family Lattaro - Asselborn. It was an emotional celebration attended by, among others, host families, members HPHA and authorities, a brigade of Saint Lukes Lutheran Church in Michigan, USA and Juan Ochoa of the HPH Area Office in Costa Rica. Family welcomed the guests at the door of your new home, which decorated with balloons, posters and photos, giving color to a warm and sunny afternoon calm was the perfect setting for an unforgettable moment. These came together in the backyard and made a round to show, to thank and acknowledge the lived moments. It also took the time to deliver a certificate of special recognition to the families of the proposed improvements are completed on time and payments, demonstrating how they are getting in on the mission to HPHA others may also have adequate housing.
The family also reminded all volunteers and brigade that helped to build housing, and in particular to the brigade of Credit Suisse (company that also made it possible partial funding for the loan that allowed this construction)
Finally, Juan Ochoa closed with a prayer that was highly appreciated by the family, who now joins HPHA mission to be a living testimony in their community than the effort and faith can accomplish.
